Blue Carnation by Rogert & Gallet c1937

Blue Carnation by Roger & Gallet: launched in 1937. You can also find it in its French name Oeillet Bleu.


Fragrance Composition:


So what does it smell like? It is classified as a floral fragrance for women. Made use of the chemicals iso eugenol, eugenol, salicylates and vanillin.
  • Top notes: carnation 
  • Middle notes: pepper and clove
  • Base notes: Indian sandalwood, anise and vanilla
